The watch for sale is No. 94 in the limited edition of 100 pieces Periscope Drass.

Drass is a Leghorn-based company founded in 1927 that has always been at the forefront of underwater technology, pioneering the production of submarines, diving suits and hyperbaric equipment.

Drass entrusted Squale with the design of a watch to be given to its crew for diving at very high depths.

For Drass, Squale made the Periscope model, not ditributed commercially but supplied exclusively to the Leghorn company, whose logo it bears on the dial. The Periscope has a helium escape valve to allow it to reach depths of 500 m and is made of steel with a black IP coating to make it shock and corrosion resistant.

The watch is equipped with removable rubber caps that function to prevent accidental shocks inside the submarine that could cause interference with onboard instruments or worse reveal its position to the enemy.

To celebrate the synergy between Squale AND Drass, the limited edition of 100 watches was born , featuring the double logo of the two companies on the dial but having the same characteristics as the models supplied to Drass.
