In the year of Squale’s sixty-fifth anniversary, I wanted to pay tribute to a case design that has accompanied the journey of this Maison, becoming Squale’s most iconic design: the asymmetrical case, known to the public as the “Von Büren Case,” with its crown at 4 o’clock, straight lugs, and squared right side.

The quintessential Squale has evolved over the years seeking more and more perfection and becoming the benchmark of diving watchmaking.

My passion for the sea, fishing, the island of Capraia and diving inspired me to dedicate the ESSEMME MK3 to the CAPRAIA Diving Club.

The ref 1521 watch is made once again in the limited run of 30 watches.

It has a diameter of 42 mm and guaranteed water resistance to 50 atmospheres (500 mt).

It will mount the SELLITA caliber SW 200-1.

It is the first 1521 in sandblasted steel to mount the ceramic insert, will have a pastel blue dial with triple applique printed hour markers, ESSEMME lettering under the Squale logo and Capraia logo at six o’clock.

Steel caseback engraved with limited edition numbering. Black Homage Tropic strap Blasted buckle.

The 30-watch run makes it highly desirable, last watches available.

Delivery is scheduled for October 2024.
