The watch for sale was sold in 1996 by historic Zurich dealer Beyer, one of the first dealers to sell the Rolex brand.
Until about 1993 Beyer personalized his watches by putting his own name on the dial.
Later, however, it was Beyer’s custom to add an identifying number in the upper right-hand corner of the warranty written in green. The same number was also engraved on the inner lug of the case.
This watch in addition to being a Beyer is also a Patrizzi thanks to the brown toning of the counters, which further increases its collector value.
This is completed by a Full Set.
